Brazilians' opinion on the Amazon forest's importance 2020

The protection of animals and biodiversity was considered by Brazilians the most important aspect of the Amazon rainforest, according to a survey conducted in August 2020. At the time, more than nine out of ten respondents gave it the highest grade on a 0-10 scale of importance. Approximately two thirds of Brazilians also believed the Amazon rainforest was very important for the Brazilian economy.
