Brazil: opinion on who is responsible for deforestation in the Amazon 2019

A survey conducted in August 2019 showed that Brazilians mostly blamed their government for deforestation in the Amazon. When asked which actors were responsible for the Amazon's deforestation in Brazil, up to 79 percent of respondents said that the Federal Government was either very or somewhat responsible. Around 78 percent said the same about farmers, whereas a total of 75 percent blamed logging companies.
