Nasdaq Copenhagen had the most trading halts among the Nordic stock markets during the period from 2016 to 2018. A trading halt, or suspension, can be imposed when there is a risk that unequal trades may occur, or lack of equal information among traders. In 2018, Nasdaq Copenhagen had 63 suspensions, while Stockholm followed by 13, Helsinki by eight and Iceland by two.
