Sales of the Portuguese tourism sector 2010-2023

The revenue generated in Portugal from sales of tourism services amounted to almost 18.9 billion euros in 2021, increasing by 26.5 percent versus the previous year. In 2020, the annual sales of the Portuguese tourism sector dropped to less than 15 billion euros due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2023, sales revenue of tourism services rose incrementally to 38.7 billion euros.
