Netherlands: familiarity with Dutch nitrogen policy

As of August 2019, a sizable share of the Dutch population was not familiar with the nitrogen policy of the Netherlands. 40 percent of people surveyed indicated that they were not familiar with the current policy on nitrogen, while approximately 30 percent of respondents knew that such a policy existed, but were unfamiliar with its contents. Meanwhile, the share of respondents who had a good understanding of Dutch nitrogen policy was below five percent.
