Distribution of electric cars registered in Belgium 2018, by region
As of 2018, approximately 72 percent of the electric cars that were sold were registered in Flanders, whereas roughly 15.3 percent were registered in the Wallonia region. Observing the registrations of fully electric passenger cars in the Netherlands, Tesla Model S was with 12,644 registrations the most registered electric car, whereas Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model 3 had approximately 6,900 and 6,000 registrations.
