Domestic travel spending worldwide 2021

Domestic tourism spending worldwide increased by roughly 31 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year, after nearly halving in 2020 due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Overall, the global domestic tourism expenditure amounted to around 3.1 trillion U.S. dollars in 2021, remaining below pre-pandemic levels.
