NBN ready premises connection status 2019 by service type

In June 30, 2019 the total number of premises in Australia that were ready to connect to the National Broadband Network (NBN) by fiber was 8,851,811. Of those ready to connect premises, just over half had activated an NBN connection. Fiber-based internet access was the main connection type available to customers, wireless connections made up the second largest service type ahead of satellite connections.
