Change in Consumer Confidence Index due to COVID-19 in Poland 2020

In April 2020, the Consumer Confidence Index in Poland was at its lowest since January 2020. Data for the April Index was gathered between 6 and 16 April. The rapid escalation of coronavirus (COVID-19) had an impact on the current trends in individual consumption. CCI was higher by 10.7 percentage points compared to the previous month and lower by 19.4 percent as compared to June 2019. June 2020 saw an improvement in both current and future consumer sentiment compared to the previous month.
