The number of consultations at general practitioners in Norway had an increasing trend for both men and women throughout the period of 2012 to 2020, and the number of consultations remained higher for women throughout the period. In 2012, the number of consultations was roughly 5.7 million for men and 7.9 million for women. In 2020, the number of consultations was roughly 6.4 million for men and 9.1 million for women.
