Coronavirus influence on growth of media ad revenues in the U.S. 2020, by medium

Before the coronavirus outbreak, in December 2019, the U.S. ad market was projected to grow by 4.4. percent, mostly owing to sales of advertising related to political and sport events planned for 2020. However, as of march 2020, revised forecasts indicate that most linear media will suffer declines in 2020. Print and radio ad revenues are expected to drop by 25.4 and 14.1 percent, respectively - the highest results among traditional media.
