Leading reasons women were body shamed Indonesia 2019 by age group
A survey of Indonesian women conducted in 2019 found that being too chubby was the most common reason why women were body shamed. However, being too skinny was also a reason for being body shamed. The same survey also found that the average Indonesian women started to go to beauty clinics when they were aged between 19 and 23 years old.
