Body mass index of Indians 2019 by income group
As per the results of a large scale survey across India in 2019, people earning less than 100,000 Indian rupees per year had the highest proportion of underweight body mass index compared to other income groups. However, the survey results also showed an interesting trend of higher underweight levels even among respondents that had a family income of over two million rupees per year.
