Share of travel and tourism spending in Mexico 2021, by traveler origin
In 2021, 86 percent of the total spending on travel and tourism in Mexico corresponded to domestic tourism, while international tourism accounted for the remaining 14 percent. Leisure tourism accounted for 95 percent of the total tourism expenditures in the North American country that year.
