Spanish moped new registrations 2019-2020
Around 22,600 new moped registrations were recorded in Spain in 2020, a year-on-year rise of almost 18 percent. Moped sales had started well in Spain at the start of the year but were disrupted in April due to national measures taken to curb the Covid-19 pandemic. Under EU rules, e-bikes with self-sustained speeds between 25 and 45 kilometers per hour are classified in the same category as mopeds.
