GDP at market prices in Zanzibar 2016-2020
The Gross Domestic Product in Zanzibar reached roughly 4.2 trillion Tanzanian shillings (TZs) in 2020, around 1.8 billion U.S. dollars. In the previous year, the GDP was measured at approximately 4.1 trillion TZs (about 1.77 billion U.S. dollars). Since 2014, the semi-autonomous region of Tanzania has been constantly registering economic growth.
