Public attitude toward protesters in Russia January 2021, by age
In the age group from 25 to 39 years, most Russians viewed participants in the January 2021 protests neutrally, as per 46 percent of respondents. More than one half of those aged 55 years and older had a rather negative opinion on protesters. The protests in the last two weekends of January 2021 were dedicated to the arrest of the opposition politician Alexei Navalny and his recently released investigation where he accused the country's president Vladimir Putin of constructing a luxurious real estate with fraudulent money.
