According to a September 2020 study, UK consumers would feel safer from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection when traveling by ferry rather than train, coach, or plane. Almost a third of respondents claimed they would feel safe or somewhat safe from COVID-19 infection when taking a ferry trip. Meanwhile, 30 percent of the survey sample stated the same about traveling by train.
