Public opinion on the return of nuclear energy in Italy 2021
According to a survey about the public opinion on a return of nuclear power generation to Italy, conducted on September 2021, a 51 percent share of survey respondents would support the return of nuclear power in order to provide electricity to Italy. Nevertheless, 20 percent would only support next-generation reactors. Roughly 45.4 percent of respondents in Italy did not support the return of nuclear energy to the country.
