JAXA's income distribution FY 2021, by funding
In the fiscal year 2021, the primary funding for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) was operating expense grants, accounting for around 57 percent of the agency's total income. These grants are government funds for incorporated administrative agencies in Japan, for JAXA contributed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
