UK: aviation emissions 1990-2021

Between 1990 and 2021, the domestic aviation emissions in the United Kingdom decreased by more than 50 percent, while international aviation emissions decreased by a little over 14 percent. The UK government as outlined plans to cut aviation emissions in order to achieve the country's net zero emissions target by 2050. This will involve investing in the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plants.
