"Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince" was the top-selling video game for consoles in Japan in December 2023. The role-playing game for the Nintendo Switch generated more than 510 thousand unit sales from November 27 to December 31. "Super Mario Bros. Wonder" ranked second with more than 460 thousand copies sold.
