Annual growth of the passenger traffic in EU ports 2011-2020

After five years of a slight to moderate growth in the number of passengers passing through European Union (EU-27) ports, 2020 saw a dramatic decline in passenger traffic. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, about half as many passengers were embarking and disembarking in EU ports in 2020 than in 2019.
