Africa: daily social media usage by country 2023

Based on an online survey, Nigerians spent the most time on social media on the African continent. As of the first quarter of 2023, they spent, on average, three hours and 44 minutes on different social media platforms. South Africans and Kenyans followed, spending three hours and 34 minutes and three hours and 32 minutes on social media, respectively.
