DAX and MDAX startup programs Germany 2022

As of June 2022, there were 122 startup programs and initiatives registered at DAX and MDAX companies in Germany. Most of these were venture capital initiatives. In contrast, the least represented type of startup program and initiative were incubators. This survey shows the number and type of startup and innovation programs in Germany at DAX and MDAX registered companies.

¹ According to the source, the study on which this statistic is based used 130 business reports of all companies which belonged to DAX, MDAX, SMI and ATX as the baseline source of information. These were checked further against other studies and requests enquires at the respective companies and then evaluated. The statistic shows the results for the German share indices DAX and MDAX.

² Cooperation programs were counted once when there were several companies involved. In DAX, MDAX, ATX and SMI there are 79 cooperation programs listed, and after being adjusted for duplications there are 57 programs (DAX:17, MDAX:13, ATX:8, SMI:19).
