Completed apprenticeship contracts growth in Germany 2000-2023

In 2023, there was an increase of three percent in completed apprenticeship contracts compared with 2022. 2020 saw the largest decrease at 11 percent.

The rates of change for the years from 2010 refer to new figures on the contracts that were concluded in the previous year, while the information for 2009 is still based on the old times series.

The abbreviation BIBB stands for Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training.
