The expansion of the reporting range in the product statistics about biomass boilers in 2014 led to higher numbers than in the year before. However, the percentage development compared to the previous year is negative.

The following types of heat generators were recorded in the statistic: biomass heating, heat pumps, oil-fired heating (condensing boiler technology and low temperature fuel heating), gas-fired heating (condensing boiler technology and low temperature heating).
