Share of consumers who bought a second-hand item New Zealand 2019-2023
In a survey conducted among consumers in New Zealand in October 2023, over 85 percent of respondents reported having purchased a second-hand item at least once. This marked a rise from 2019, the start of the survey period, in which around 76 percent of those surveyed reported having purchased a pre-used item.
