This statistic shows the share of American high school students in grades 9 to 12 who stated they have carried a gun on one or more occasions in 2017, by gender and ethnicity. The statistic only covers the occasions which took place 30 days before the survey was conducted. According to the source, 1.9 percent of female student respondents with a white, non-Hispanic background stated they have been carrying a gun during that time at least once.
