While Hermès’ global value of sales amounted to roughly 6.25 billion of euros in 2017, Chanel’s value of sales corresponded to nearly 9.62 billion euros .
The French luxury goods manufacturer Hermès employed in 2017 a total of 13,483 people worldwide. This would be more than 2.5 times the number of employees compared to the 5,361 people employed in 2002.
