Alcohol and tobacco sales volume index monthly in Great Britain 2014-2020
This statistic shows the monthly volume of alcoholic drink, other beverage and tobacco sales (quantity bought) in Great Britain (GB) from August 2014 to August 2020, represented as an index. From a peak in June of 2016, sales volumes decreased to 67.1 index points as of April 2019. Afterwards the index recovered and reached 83.6 points in August of 2020. The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates in index form with a reference year of 2016 equal to 100.
