The statistic shows book publisher returns as percentage of the gross invoiced price of physical books sold in the United Kingdom (UK) and from exports from 2009 to 2018. Since 2013, the general downward trend in publisher returns from physical books was observed, and in 2017, reported publisher returns reached the lowest level of 7.8 percent of the gross invoiced price (32.2 percent decrease compared to 2013).
