As of 2017, employees in the mining and quarrying sector on average received the highest hourly wage, whereas employees in accommodation and food serving received the lowest. Employees in the mining industry received over 35 euros per hour on average in 2017, whereas the hourly income of those in the food service industry was just over 13 euros.
