Monthly advertising spending in Sweden February 2020, by media

In February 2020, spending on television advertising in Sweden decreased by 18.1 percent compared to February 2019, amounting to roughly 327 million Swedish kronor. In total, the advertising expenditure was nearly one billion Swedish kronor that month.
The economic downturn in the media market, which has been seen since mid of 2019, has strengthened with the downturn in February 2020. Due to the coronvirus (COVID-19) outbreak at the end of 2019, stock markets around the world are falling and it seemed to have an impact on the advertising market in Sweden as well.
