Leading Indian airports FY 2020 by number of passengers handled

Indira Gandhi international airport, Delhi, with around 50 million passengers, had the highest number of passengers during the financial year 2019. This was followed by Mumbai, which had more than 33 million passengers. All the metro airports saw a decline in the number of passengers. On the contrary, airports in tier 1 cities such as Ahmedabad and Hyderabad had a higher footfall.
