Operating revenue of Indian national carriers FY 2021, by operator
In financial year 2021, Air India had the highest operating revenue of over 103 billion Indian rupees among other national carriers. However, as the expenses of the airline was more than the revenue, Air India reported a loss of over 47 billion Indian rupees during the same year. In the beginning of 2022, Air India along with Air India Express were sold by the Indian government to the Tata Group.
