FC Internazionale Milano had the highest average match attendance in the 2024/25 season at approximately 73 thousand. This was followed by AC Milan, with an average of 72 thousand.

Inter and Milan: two successful teams in one city

A historical rivalry exists between Inter and Milan, as both teams come from the same city and share the same stadium, the San Siro. Rivalry aside, these two clubs are among the most successful soccer teams in Italy. As of 2024, they rank second and third in the list of Italian football clubs that won the highest number of championship titles.
