The production of oil in India amounted to 728 thousand barrels a day in 2023, the lowest figure reported since the begining of the last decade. This represented a decrease of over 1.5 percent in comparison to the previous year. Oil production in the Asia Pacific region amounted to 7.3 million barrels a day that year.
