Dependency on energy imports in the European Union (EU) 1995 to 2014
This statistic shows the energy import dependency of the European Union (EU) from 1995 to 2014, in percentage. It shows that the import dependency increased significantly overall from 43.1 percent in 1995 to 53.5 percent in 2014. The import dependency for solid fuels increased from 21.5 percent to 45.6 percent respectively.
