Based on extensive data collected, it can be seen that the number of card payments per day more than doubled between 2006 and 2016, with approximately 17.7 million card payments per day conducted in 2006, and 39.2 million payments per day in 2016. It was expected that by 2026, the number of card payments per day will grow to 60 million.
