The statistic shows the adoption rate of header bidding among publishers in the United States as of November 2017, broken down by type. In the measured period it was found that approximately 71.6 percent of the studied U.S. publishers did any type of header bidding, while 40.4 percent used client-side wrapper only. Header bidding, or pre-bidding is part of the programmatic advertising process where publishers offer inventory simultaneously to multiple partners before addressing their ad servers.
