Brazil: automotive industry import value 2010-2022
In 2022, Brazil imported nearly 27.7 billion U.S. dollars worth of motor vehicles and auto parts, an increase of nearly 15 percent from the previous year. The Brazilian automotive industry has been recovering from the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the industry experienced a dramatic increase of 90 percent in imports. Exports of the automotive industry in 2022 amounted to approximately 19 billion dollars.
