This statistic provides information about the payment punctuality of businesses in Italy as of the second quarter of 2019, broken down by company size. It can be observed that more than 85 percent of large companies paid their invoices within 60 days of delay and only 9.9 percent of them used to pay on time. The highest share of companies paying their invoices on time was found in the small-sized business category (roughly 44 percent).
