This statistic presents the share of internet users in the United States who feel comfortable about companies selling their personal data for online advertising purposes as of May 2018. According to the findings, 62 percent of respondents stated that they were very uncomfortable with the fact that companies were able to sell their personal data for online advertising reasons. Only six percent stated the opposite, by being very comfortable with these activities.
