
U.S. internet users sharing user data for targeted ads 2018, by age group
This statistic presents the share of internet users in the United States who don't mind sharing their personal data with other companies if it means receiving more targeted or interesting advertisements as of May 2018, sorted by age. According to the findings, 16 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years stated not minding companies sharing their personal data in return for more targeted advertisements, while in comparison only eight percent of respondents aged 30 to 44 years reported similarly.
