
U.S. internet users not sharing user data for targeted ads 2018, by age group
This statistic presents the share of internet users in the United States who don't want their personal data shared with other companies for more targeted or interesting advertisements as of May 2018, sorted by age. According to the findings, 67 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years stated to not wanting companies sharing their personal data in return for more targeted advertisements, while in comparison 81 percent of respondents aged 30 to 44 years reported similarly.
