This statistic shows a ranking of publishing groups based on the number of titles they owned in the leading 20 newspapers in the United Kingdom (UK) as of June 2018. Newspaper group Reach Plc, previously known as Trinity Mirror, owned seven out of the twenty leading UK newspapers based on print publication. Trinity Mirror acquired publishing group Northern & Shell in February 2018 and rebranded as Reach Plc in May of the same year.
