Approximately 69 percent of Swedes aged 16 to 24 years had a normal weight, or a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9. About nine percent of this age group was underweight, while 18 percent of 16 to 24-year-olds were defined as overweight people with an BMI between 25.0 and 29.9.
