Turkey: mining and quarrying sector employees 2009-2014
In 2014, the number of employees in the mining and quarrying industry in Turkey decreased by 6,433 employees (-4.61 percent) since 2013. This was the first time during the observed period that the number of employees in this industry declined in Turkey. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant higher number of employees than the preceding years.
