The maximum average ticket price has seen greater fluctuation; 2007 and 2008 saw a maximum ticket price of 20 Australian dollars, prices peaked at 28.5 Australian dollars in 2011 and fell to 22 Australian dollars in 2019. Australian cinemas have enjoyed steady attendance figures; attendance has remained at around the 70 percent since 2013, fluctuating by a maximum of four percent year on year.
